The short version: the instant quote is an estimate, not a booking. A date is booked only by a written Quote from us, a signed Event Services Agreement, and the deposit. Payments run through Intuit, so we never handle your card or bank details.

Using this site
You may browse this site and use its tools to plan an event with us. Please don't scrape it with automated tools, try to break or overload it, or enter false information in its forms.
Descriptions, photos, menus, and prices on the site are general information. They can change without notice.
Instant quotes
The quote tool shows an estimate based on our published rates and the details you enter. It isn't an offer or a contract. After you send it, we confirm availability and email you a written Quote.
Our Event Services Agreement includes that written Quote. Website descriptions and online estimates aren't part of it.
Booking online and signing electronically
When we approve your Quote, we email you a booking link. It works for one booking and expires on the date shown in the email. On the booking page, you add your event details and sign our Event Services Agreement by typing your name.
- By signing, you agree to sign electronically and to receive the agreement and notices by email.
- You confirm that you're authorized to sign for the company named in the agreement.
- We keep a record of each signature: the name typed, the time, your IP address, and your browser, saved with the exact text you signed. You and we each get a PDF copy by email.
As the agreement says, your date is reserved once we've received both the signed agreement and the deposit.
Payments
You pay deposits and balances on Intuit's QuickBooks pages, not on this site. Intuit processes each payment, and Intuit's terms apply to it. We receive the amount, date, and method. We never receive or store full card or bank account numbers.
The agreement comes first
If these terms and a signed Event Services Agreement disagree about an event, the agreement controls.

Our QuickBooks connection
ValdezNY built a private connection between this site and its own QuickBooks Online company. It creates our customer records, estimates, and invoices, and it confirms payments.
- It's licensed only to ValdezNY LLC and connects only to ValdezNY's own QuickBooks company.
- It isn't offered to anyone else. No one else may connect, copy, or use it.
- It never connects to a client's QuickBooks or reads a client's books.
- ValdezNY can disconnect it at any time from inside QuickBooks.
Our content
The ValdezNY name, the V. mark, our photos, and the words on this site belong to ValdezNY LLC. Please don't reuse them without our written permission. Sharing a link is always fine.
Other sites
We link to Instagram, Google, and other sites for convenience. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there.
No warranties, limited liability
We work to keep this site accurate and running, but we provide it as is, without warranties. As far as the law allows, ValdezNY isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site. Our liability for event services is set by the Event Services Agreement.
New York law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute goes to the state and federal courts in New York County, New York.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and each change applies from that date.
