Launch offer — NYC coffee catering The first pour is the best one.
ValdezNY is pouring now. Through December, we're reserving a small number of founding dates — and the clients who book them get the best terms we will ever offer. Not because it's a promotion, but because trusting a company before it has a portfolio deserves to be repaid.

Why book a coffee company this new? Fair question. The equipment is bought — the La Marzocco GS3 and Mahlkönig grinder are dialed in. The insurance is bound, the recipes are timed, and the calendar is open. The nine years behind the bar are further down this page. What we don't have yet is you.
A tight menu,
done properly.
We launched with five drinks and two milks — every one of them dialed, weighed, and timed, hot or iced. The menu has grown since; the standard hasn't moved.
Founding rates,
by tier.
All three tiers from our services page, with the founding discount already applied. Premium Activations open for late-fall dates. Founding rates are for corporate events; weddings have their own packages.
We'd rather earn your booking before we've earned a reputation — so the best deal we'll ever offer goes to the people who trusted us first.
The Founding Pour promise
Behind the bar
ValdezNY is new.
I'm not.
I'm Michael Valdez. I've spent nine years behind New York coffee bars — Director of Coffee at Pomegranate, café manager at East One, lead barista at Teranga, and recently on bar at La Cabra, where the margin for error is about as thin as it gets in this city.
For two of those years I worked the other side of it, running client services for Sodexo inside Manhattan corporate offices — Peloton and Plaid. That's where I learned the part most coffee vendors get wrong: the coffee is the easy half. The hard half is the 7am loading dock, the freight elevator reservation, the COI the building wants three days early, and the office manager who just needs someone to show up exactly when they said they would.
It's why the cart is built the way it is — self-contained, one outlet on a dedicated 20-amp circuit, a 5×5 footprint, in and out clean. Not because it's elegant, but because I've had to get equipment into buildings like yours before.
The company has only a few pours behind it. I have nine years of them — in this city, on machines like this one. That part you can check.

How a founding
booking works.
Same process as any ValdezNY event — the only difference is that you're on the calendar first.
Send a date and headcount
The form below takes under a minute. Short notice? Send it anyway and we'll tell you straight whether we can make it.
Get your founding quote
One clear number with the 10% already taken off — plus tier and add-on options for your headcount and hours. No obligation until you say so.
A 50% deposit locks the date
Your event goes on the founding calendar and one of the ten spots comes off the board. Balance is due before the event, like every booking we'll ever take.
We pour
The cart arrives an hour early, dials in, and serves your room a proper café. Your team gets the coffee; you get the credit for finding us first.
Founding fine print.
The whole point of this offer is that there isn't much of it — but here are the straight answers.
No — and that's deliberate, so neither of us ever argues about an invoice. The 10% founding discount applies to your first event. The $300 First Pour credit comes with your first Corporate Hospitality booking and applies to your next event, when it's booked within 30 days. One incentive per invoice.
Then every dollar of your deposit comes back — in full, no conversation required. That's the founding trade: you take a chance on a new company, and the company carries all the risk of being new.
Maybe — send the date. Two to three weeks is comfortable, but if the calendar, staffing, and your venue line up sooner, we'll give you a plain yes or no the same day.
Because we'd rather run ten events flawlessly than twenty adequately. Ten is what one cart, one lead barista, and an honest calendar can deliver at the standard we're setting. The founding rate closes at ten dates or at the end of December 2026, whichever comes first.
